Digitally printed quality and speed

ODT utilizes the HP Indigo 7000, a powerful engine for high volume production of static jobs with run lengths ranging from one-of-a-kind pieces up to thousands, as well as variable data print (VDP) campaigns targeted at hundreds of thousands of recipients. The 13"x19" sheet size allows for efficient imposition of most standard mail formats.

The HP Indigo 7000 Digital Press delivers a powerful combination of high productivity and low total cost of ownership, so we're able to pass on the cost-savings to our clients. ODT has deployed the latest Digital Front End (DFE), SmartStream 4.1 which supports true 1:1 in a PDF or JLT workflow. Multiple input and output trays allow for near lights out operation, allowing small runs and large static or variable data jobs to run seamlessly.

Clients with green initiatives will respect that it was designed with features that are environmentally important. Power consumption has been reduced by 25% per printed page compared to previous presses. An imaging oil recycling system enables a reduction of approximately 50% in consumption and waste. Longer lifespan consumables result in the generation of fewer waste materials.

Finishing, bindery and distribution services

On Demand Technologies has been on the cutting edge in the digital print industry since its inception and as such, has put together a wide array of services that cover all aspects of production from pre-printing processing to post-printing finishing. These range from the extensive services behind Direct Mail Automation, extend into bindery, and finish in the shipping of the product out the door for final delivery.

Our bindery department is very comprehensive for a digital print services provider. We have included the major binding methods utilized in the short-run printing field. These include booklet-making, perfect binding, plastic coil binding, and shrink-wrapping. We believe in redundancy in every aspect of our business, so you will see multiple machines that can produce the same type product. We built our in-house bindery for three reasons: to collapse the turn-around time, to ensure our quality standards are maintained, and to allow the flexibility for expedited growth at any given time.

Mailing and distribution services

The mailing services offered by ODT include the National Change of Address (NCOA) and Coding Accuracy Support System (CASS) certifications. NCOA is designed to get the mail to the new address, provided the client has registered to do so. CASS is designed to confirm the address you have listed is an actual address according to the United States Postal Service. Both of these certifications are utilized to get the mail into the hands of your prospect and customers and not in the "unable to deliver" bucket at the post office. In addition, we are printing only the pieces we know will be delivered, which is efficiency at its finest that benefits your bottom line.

ODT is able to offer indicias in both first-class and standard pre-sort mail. This will save you the time, effort, and money of having to set up, maintain and utilize your own indicia and postal account. Our mail is co-mingled with millions of other pieces to keep postage costs down and to get your pieces as far into the postal stream as possible, resulting in more rapid and predictable delivery times. This can also result in significant postage savings since you may be able to migrate to standard rates even with smaller than traditionally required mailing quantities.
